A few years ago, Microsoft software versions were supported for around 3-4 years, nowadays the lifecycle of major software vendors’ products has shrunk significantly. Today, companies may feel secure only if they are always running on a fresh software version that has already been updated with patches and legislative changes.
The expression “cloud solutions” often raised concerns amongst business leaders for many years. Today companies are well aware by now that moving to the cloud is a no-brainer, what’s more, it can help businesses stay competitive and ensures resilience and agility.
There is a saying, that it always takes two. Well, the same goes for project implementation. Planning a system is one part of the story, but we need the client on board as well to make it work smoothly: to be engaged during the whole process -from the briefing moment to pushing the ‘go-live’ button-, then ensuring proper time to test the system, not to forget to educate employees how to take the most out of the new features and also to ensure that the right data is ready to migrate. That’s the key recipe for a successful implementation!
